Though I'm not a great lover of books, I am, however, a fan of specific authors. In combing through LibraryThing, I found it a very helpful tool for those who read thousands of books AND for those like me who read few. I particularly enojyed the ability to put specific titles on my "virtual shelf" so that I can have a running list of titles I wish to read. Plus, I also found it very useful to be able to link up to others who have read the titles, for they may be an advid reader and can suggest books of similar nature or interest.
